Freak-Radio, is an Austrian radio-project, arranged by people with and without disabilities.
It is broadcasted on the medium waveband (1476 kHz), each Sunday and Tuesday from 8:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
(From 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM on each second Tuesday of the month)
There is also a Real Audio Live-Stream available at
http://1476.orf.at/ (opens in a new window).
Freak-Radio in general is available in German only. One Magazine in 2005, January 30th was broadcasted in English.

Freak-Radio counteracts the image of the disabled people as »poor things« who are not able to help themselves. The main subject is about the life and lifestyle of people with disabilities but also political topics like »self determined living« and other topics...
